FEMALE FUNDING EVENT – NOVEMBER 18

We still have a long way to go in our pursuit of more diversity. Despite numerous studies showing that mixed teams perform better, we are far behind in the world of startups and financiers. For example, in the past twelve years, about 90 percent of venture capital in the Netherlands went to startups founded by only men.

The NOM, Founded in Groningen and Founded in Friesland are organizing an online event for entrepreneurs from the Northern Netherlands together with #Fundright on 17 November to discuss these kinds of diversity issues. The approach is mainly aimed at raising awareness, talking to each other and thinking about prejudices together with various parties: entrepreneurs, fund managers, support partners and stakeholders from the northern ecosystem.

Following this #Fundright event, Borski Fund is inviting female entrepreneurs from the regions of Friesland, Groningen & Drenthe to its Female Funding Event on November 18 from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. During this online event there is the opportunity to speak with various investors and get feedback on your company in an informal setting. We would like to speak to female entrepreneurs that are currently looking for financing or that need financing in the future to realize their ambitions.

Investors that will be present during the Female Funding Event are Tablomonto Ventures, Healthy.Capital, Rubio Impact Ventures, Oneplanetcrowd, the NOM and Borski Fund.
